Director’s Successful Mission to Brazil - November 2011

Novella Director Cecilia da Costa returned at the weekend from a mission to Brazil, where she engaged in discussions with several potential customers.

Novella had been asked to supply an example of the renowned Novella satellite tracking receiver to a large manufacturer of satellite antennas in Brazil, for a physical evaluation of its performance. They were particularly interested in the unit’s efficiency in tracking inclined orbit satellites – a difficult challenge in which Novella equipment excels. Mrs da Costa delivered a short presentation about Novella products when she handed over the unit for testing.

During a visit to one of South America’s major satellite operators, Mrs da Costa was pleased to be invited by the Chief Technical Officer to give a presentation during her forthcoming attendance at the convention of SSPi (Society of Satellite Professionals International) in Rio de Janeiro. Despite the very short notice she was able to produce an informative presentation in Portuguese for an audience of 200 delegates.
