NOVELLA WINS EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS AWARD

On 19 October 2006 the Directors of Novella SatComs were presented with a prestigious award for Excellence in Business 2006.

The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards are organised by Yorkshire’s premier news group, which represents one of Britain’s most important and vibrant commercial regions. These Awards carry great prestige because nominated companies are judged critically for their practices in areas such as enterprise, innovation, management and competitiveness. It is a great compliment even for a company to be considered for an award and the nominations are all of very high quality. Under these demanding criteria, winners can be justifiably proud that their achievements have been recognised. Novella was a clear winner in the category for companies with a turnover below £10 million.

The Awards Ceremony, which was hosted by Evan Davis, Economics Editor of the BBC is an important event in the UK business calendar.

The Award recognises the vision and talent of the founders, Ventura Rufino and Bill Dransfield and the efforts of all our team at Novella SatComs. The presentation to the Directors was made by The Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson, MP, Secretary of State for Education and Skills.
